About us
A small foundation with a focused job
SecurePaws Foundation was founded in 2026 to make sure homeless and abandoned animals get the medical care, shelter and second chance they need.
Our mission
To reduce the suffering of homeless animals by funding rescue, veterinary care and shelter, by finding them permanent homes, and by preventing future homelessness through sterilization and education.
Our approach
We don't run a large shelter of our own. We work with licensed veterinarians, established shelters and experienced rescuers, and we pay for the care they provide. This keeps our costs low and puts donations where they matter: into treatment, food and shelter.
We work internationally, with priority given to regions where veterinary care for street animals is scarce and where local partners can show clear records of the care they give.

Governance
How we hold ourselves accountable
- The Board of Directors approves the annual budget and every partner organization.
- Directors and officers follow a written conflict-of-interest policy.
- No director receives a salary for board service.
- Grants are paid to providers against invoices, never as untracked cash.
- We keep financial records for at least seven years and file every required state and federal return.
