Programs

What your donation pays for

Every program has a clear purpose, a defined cost and a partner who delivers it. Here is what each one covers.

Rescue & rehoming

We respond to cases of stray, injured, abandoned and surrendered animals reported by our partners and the public.

  • Transport to a partner vet or shelter
  • Health check, vaccinations and sterilization before adoption
  • Temporary foster care while the animal recovers
  • Adopter screening and a written adoption agreement

Veterinary care funding

We pay licensed veterinary clinics for treatment of animals that have no owner able to pay.

  • Spay and neuter surgery
  • Core vaccinations and parasite treatment
  • Emergency care for injuries and illness
  • Payment made directly to the clinic against an invoice

Shelter support

We support established shelters and rescue groups that meet our standards for animal care and record keeping.

  • Food, medicine and hygiene supplies
  • Kennels, bedding and basic equipment
  • Help with veterinary bills for shelter animals
  • Partners are reviewed before and during support

Education

Prevention is the long-term fix. We fund and run awareness work in the communities where we operate.

  • Responsible pet ownership guides
  • Information on the benefits of sterilization
  • Humane treatment of community and street animals
  • School and community sessions with partners

Partner requirements

To receive support, a clinic, shelter or rescuer must:

  • Be legally registered or licensed where they operate
  • Share records and photos of the animals we fund
  • Provide an invoice or receipt for every cost we pay
  • Meet basic animal care and hygiene standards
